Something has changed within me Something is not the same I'm through with playing by the rules Of someone else's game Too late for second-guessing Too late to go back to sleep It's time to trust my instincts Close my eyes: and leap!
It's time to try Defying gravity I think I'll try Defying gravity Kiss me goodbye I am defying gravity And you wont bring me down!
I'm through accepting limits ''cause someone says they're so Some things I cannot change But till I try, I'll never know! Too long I've been afraid of Losing love I guess I've lost Well, if that's love It comes at much too high a cost!
I'd sooner buy Defying gravity Kiss me goodbye I'm defying gravity I think I'll try Defying gravity And you wont bring me down!
I'd sooner buy Defying gravity Kiss me goodbye I'm defying gravity I think I'll try Defying gravity And never bring me down! bring me down! ohh ohhh ohhhh!
For the record, this must be my most unproductive off ever, where all I did was sleep, play games and merry around not even bothering to eat. Well at least I am able to update my page for some stuffs but I still find it useless. The reason for this is pretty simple, ending a chance of happiness. Well for some this could be so patriotically exaggerated but hey, everybody goes to this trauma. And its very hard to deny that things sometimes cannot be controlled, even feelings cannot be manipulated by anybody but it can be triggered by something. I miss the old times when my phone would ring expecting something from him, get nagged by things with no sense or even start a cheesy talk with him of how to build the future. So much for those memories and it really makes me cry right now. But anyways I have to move forward, everybody should. Here's a song that I am totally in love with from the Glee series, made me realize of dreaming and believing of something, those "should have", "could have", "would have" things.
Don't Stop Believin' *Glee Cast*
Just a small town girl Livin’ in a lonely world She took the midnight train going anywhere
Just a city boy Born and raised in south Detroit He took the midnight train going anywhere
A singer in a smoky room The smell of wine and cheap perfume For a smile they can share the night It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting Up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the night Streetlight people Living just to find emotion Hiding somewhere in the night
Working hard to get my fill Everybody wants a thrill Payin’ anything to roll the dice Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose Some are born to sing the blues Oh, the movie never ends It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting Up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the night Streetlight people Living just to find emotion Hiding somewhere in the night
Don’t stop believin’ Hold on to that feelin’ Streetlight people
Don’t stop believin’ Hold on Streetlight people
Don’t stop believin’ Hold on to that feelin’ Streetlight people
I had bumped and got addicted to this new series entitled Glee, launched by FOX which had his pilot episode last May and continued its series this last September. This series shows the different life of people being able to meet in one common things they enjoy and loved the most which is singing, in spite of the negative things happening around in their life and some objection preventing them to do things they wanted to do. And its comical in a sense, it's really funny.
Glee in the dictionary means extreme happiness, but with the series using this word, it shows the opposite thing. Glee Club has been a room for some social outcast in their school but they were still able to find ways to put the word "glee" in the things they love to do. And the good thing is it shows some of the most powerful and fresh voices of the cast. Performances are awesome and great, somewhat similar with High School Musical but it appeals as different since the idea and humor of the film is very modern. The movie actually has few things to ponder, a lot of things to laugh, things to love and dreams to relive with. I really commend this film and would recommend it to be a must watch.
