This South Korean girl pop group is under the signed of singer-songwriter Park Jin- Young and are currently signed to his talent agency and JYP Entertainment. Wonder Girls is admittably popular because of their hits but if you dont know, they experienced mishaps of unfortunate events that had almost threated their existence. Their first appearance was on a Korean pop music television that was aired in February of 2007 and followed by their mini-album "The Wonder Begins" which was released right after their appearance on the said tv show. Before the group reached their peak of success, a series of events had made this group almost jeapordize their group. First when Ahn So Hee was injured in an accident during the shooting in one of their music video. Then Kim Hyun A, the original member of Wonder Girls was pulled out by her parents because of health concern and later was replaced by Kim Yoo Bin. Finally, when the band had an accident while returning from a gig. Well inspite of what happened, they really was able to go through all the obstacles and made it to the top.

2NE1 is the new girl band that YG spent 3 years preparing to debut. This group of 4 young girls is being watched closely with high expectations as they are considered the "female Big Bang".
The group was first mentioned by the press in late 2008, when rumours were spreading that YG was creating a female version of Big Bang named Sista. In response to those rumours, YG Entertainment President Yang Hyun Suk stated that the name was not chosen yet. In January 2009, it was announced that the "Female Big Bang" would debut around July 2009 with three members — CL, Minzy, and Bom. Later that month, YG stated that Sandara Park joined the group, with one more member to follow. In the end, YG Entertainment announced that the group would consist of four members and debut sometime in May 2009. The company stated that the group had trained for 4 years, and that their debut album would contain songs produced by Teddy Park. The group's name was initially announced as "21"; however, due to the discovery of a singer with the same name, the group was quickly renamed "2NE1" which stands for "New Evolution of the 21st Century". "NE" meaning "New Evolution" and "21" standing for the "21st Century"..

2NE1 consists of CL (leader, rapper, vocalist), Gong Minji (rapper, vocalist), Park Bom (main vocalist) and Sandara Park (vocalist). Not only is there a big difference between their ages (Sandara and Bom are 1984s and the youngest Minji is a 1994), but their images they portray are also varied from sexy to cute to cool.
Their unofficial debut was with their "big brother" Big Bang with the song "Lollipop" which was for commercial purposes (LG Lollipop phone). Their official debut is with the hip hop/raggae single "Fire".

...well both of them are cute, cool and fantastic. so i would still support both of the K-pop group who made a significant fame in the music industry internationally and hopefully would be known more cause i know there are a lot of asian songs that are good and competitive compared to recycled music that most international music industry are selling in the market. and hopefully they still be thesame person inspite of the fame and prestige that they have. credits to wikipedia for some useful information for this post. xD
